The Blower Door Test measures the amount of infiltration present in a home or building. Like the game of Golf, the lower the score the better. Florida Building Code requires the house has confirmed leakage of 7.0 air changes per hour or less before the occupancy certificate can be issued. For comparison, houses earning the EPA ENERGY STAR label have confirmed leakage of 5.0 air changes or less per hour.
